“And suddenly I realized that I was no longer driving the car consciously. I was driving it by a kind of instinct, only I was in a different dimension.”
Sam Spiller hails from Cape Town and is a student of the Rhodes University School of Journalism and Media Studies. Starting out as a broadcaster and producer for campus-based Rhodes Music Radio, Sam has turned his attention to his passion for driving cars and writing long, convoluted articles about them and the experience. He is covertly biased towards Renault, and was once referred to as the demon of motoring journalism (he took it as a compliment).
